Have you ever wanted to gnaw someone’s hand off? Feeling a bit peckish lately? Then this job is for you!!
We need to find the sixty best zombies to participate in some epic flesh eating fun!
THE MAIN EVENT...
Zombie Island, Adventure Wellington's 5km Zombie Infested Horror Run is on Matiu-Somes Island on October 27th, set at dusk amongst the abandoned animal and human quarantine facilities. The event is supported by Wellington Regional Emergency Management Organization, which means Red Cross tents, body bags and much more.. it's going to feel like a real Zombie Apocalypse has hit the island.
WHAT IS REQUIRED OF ME?
Show up to the casting next Tuesday night -- we’re going to challenge you to be the best zombie you can be, with surprise activities that will test your creativity and confidence. We will only be picking sixty of the best flesh eaters to join us.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR...
We are looking for goal oriented, target driven and determined zombies who love people and are focused and ready to put their rotting bodies to good use and achieve success.

As Zombie Island is a fundraising event for Wellington SPCA, you will be required to pay your own workshops and DomPost ferry costs ($60).

- Zombie makeup workshop with internationally acclaimed special effects make-up artist, Nicole Heydenrijk of BodyFX
- Zombie costume workshop with Kate from Costume Cave
- Participation in the biggest event of the year: Zombie Island, where you get to scare a bunch of innocent runners
- Exclusive rides on the Zombie Ferry to and from Matiu/Somes Island, the BBQ afterwards, return ticket to Queens Wharf and special appearance at the after party at The Southern Cross Garden Bar Restaurant.
