Here is a photo taken yesterday. It gets repetitive applying for jobs, so sometimes I go out on excursions to get a change of scenery.
Yesterday I went to the Sherlock Holmes Museum. This was a two storey house, but you could take photos of everything and get your photo taken, making it ideal for myself. Today I went to Hyde Park and Green Park to get some fresh air. I also met up with Nat Wiggins who was over in New Zealand last year and lives just out of London. It is interesting getting the opposite perspective on things as she was in New Zealand for a year. I am supposed to meeting up with Matt Landreth who was last seen coming out of a night club in Soho named G-A-Y! WE hopefully will go to a show in the Globe theatre.
It dawned on me when speaking with Nat today, just how many places there are to see over here, so I am going to have to plan really well the places and things to visit to maximise efficiency.
On a completely different note, does anyone know if it is possible for me to somehow see the Stags vs Canterbury Ranfurly Shield Game on Friday? It is not being broadcast on SKY over here. I don't want to miss witnessing history. There are so many shops decked out for the Premiership football which kicks off at the weekend. My nearest team is Leyton Orient I think, premiership wise it may be West Ham or someone. I am an Eastender n'all!
The flat is working out fine. The South Africans speak plenty of Africkaans but I don't care, they are friendly to me anyway! The jury is still out on the Revival Church!
